1. Before the owner confirms

A new booking is held until the owner confirms it. If the owner declines, or does not respond within 24 hours, the booking is cancelled and refunded in full — nothing is kept.

A renter who cancels while the booking is still waiting on the owner is also refunded in full.

2. Free cancellation window

A confirmed booking cancelled more than 48 hours before the rental begins is refunded in full: the rental price, the service and processing fees, and the security deposit hold.

Each booking shows its own cancellation deadline — the exact date and time this window closes — on the booking page.

3. Cancelling within 48 hours of the start

If the trailer has not been picked up yet, the rental price and the security deposit hold are returned. The service and processing fees are not refunded — they cover work already done.

4. Cancelling after the rental has started

Once a rental is under way, only the unused days are refunded, priced at the trailer's daily rate. Days already used and the service and processing fees are not refunded.

The security deposit hold stays in place until the trailer is returned and its condition is confirmed, because the trailer is still out.

5. Cancellations by RentPull

If RentPull cancels a booking itself — for example when a required rental agreement is not signed in time — the renter is refunded in full regardless of when the cancellation happens.
